New PLC Design Patterns

PLC Code Patterns Book

PLC Design Patterns Book Cover

While there are quite a number of code design pattern books out for computer programmers – this is the first for PLC coders! A concise, to the point book with just the info you need to apply some 48 well documented mini-solutions for your PLC code. Patterns from timer control to word data shift registers, from mode control to tag naming conventions, from why not to use one-shots to state-machine implementation and how to arrange peer to peer communications (and any other remotely initiated control). The point is to standardize your code where you can, and to use your creativity where its required. Make your code more predictable, easier to review and understand (even by yourself a few years on) – avoid the constant re-invention of standard stuff!
